2025 Summer Events
This page will act as a calendar of events for the oldest girls at South Liberty Church. We hope to use this schedule to keep a consistent meeting time for our students, realizing that not everyone will be able to attend every event. It's summer!
May 7 - Pizza & Movie
Meet at South Liberty to eat pizza while we watch the movie "Prince of Egypt." This animated movie gives the account of Moses, his call by God and the Exodus of the Hebrews. Since we've been studying this in the Bible on Wednesday nights, it's a great time to get an overview of the whole story. Bring a camp chair so you can have a comfy seat for the movie!
May 14- Bonfire & Snacks
We'll meet at John & Chris's shelter house to share snacks, play card games, enjoy a bonfire, have a short discussion/devotional and do some planning for future summer events.
May 21 - Activities & Tour of Wonder Valley Camp
Carpool and/or meet at Wonder Valley Camp for a combined gathering of teens from South Liberty Church and Turning Point Christian Church. We'll play ga-ga ball, eat some food, take a tour of the camp, visit the Pioneer site, the Creek, maybe go in a cave, and do some other fun stuff.
